Live Arrival, DOA & Order Accuracy Policy

BlueRipple Aquatics takes great care in packing and shipping every order. Due to the nature of live animals, the following policy applies to all livestock shipments.

Live Arrival Guarantee (Overnight Shipping Only)

The Live Arrival Guarantee applies only to orders shipped via:

  • UPS or FedEx Overnight / Next Day Air
  • Delivered on the first delivery attempt

This guarantee does not apply to:

  • 2-Day shipping
  • Ground shipping
  • Carrier delays or weather-related delays
  • Incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout
  • Missed delivery attempts
  • Packages marked delivered but not brought inside promptly

If Overnight shipping is not selected, the order is shipped at the customer’s risk.

DOA (Dead on Arrival) Claims

To qualify for a DOA claim:

  • Email us within one (1) hour of the marked delivery time
  • Provide clear photos of:
    • The fish in the unopened bag
    • The fish outside of the bag
    • The shipping label on the box

Claims submitted after one hour may not be eligible for coverage.

Approved DOA claims will be resolved with:

  • Store credit for the livestock value

Shipping, box, and handling fees are non-refundable.

Wrong Item Received

If an incorrect item is received:

  • Notify us within 24 hours of delivery
  • Provide clear photos of:
    • The item received
    • The packing contents
    • The shipping label

Once verified, we will issue either a refund to the original payment method or store credit.

Missing Items

If an item is missing from your order, notify us within 24 hours of delivery.

Once verified, the missing item will be refunded to the original payment method.

Not Covered

  • Losses after acclimation or release into your aquarium
  • Improper acclimation or water chemistry issues
  • Aggression from tank mates
  • Natural color and size variations
